ASEAN Leaders and Global Exhibitions Organisers Joint Leadership Summit 2021
Congress Rental supports ASEAN Leaders and Global Exhibitions Organisers

On the 5th – 7th of October 2021, ASEAN Leaders and Global Exhibitions Organisers gathered in Singapore for a joint leadership summit to chart a reopening roadmap for the regions exhibition and business event industry. The event facilitated members from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Singapore Association for Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (SACEOS), Association of Event Organisers (AEO), Society for Independent Show Organisers (SISO) and the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
It was the first face-to-face meeting since the beginning of the pandemic for ASEAN government ministers, major global organisers, trade association leaders and tourism bureau chiefs to reinvigorate the region's business events industry and reboot inter and intra-regional business travel. Fully vaccinated participants came together to put forward a clear action plan to restart business events as well as exchange insights and perspectives on global reopening experiences and sector developments.
Congress Rental supplied conference microphones integrated with automatic PTZ cameras. We also enabled a live feed into Zoom so that the live on-site audience could interact with the online audience.
The Summit

The layout of the Summit was in a rectangular formation with three automatic PTZ cameras, pre-programmed by Congress Rental's technicians to move and focus on the delegates as soon as they as they pushed the microphone button to speak. A Congress Rental technical engineer advised on camera placement and microphone positioning to ensure the best result was achieved.
Before the event we prepared by creating seating pre-sets using software mapping technology on the microphone management system and working with an audio engineer to ensure all microphones received technical checks. During the event, we supported the floor by monitoring and controlling the microphone management system. In addition to this, we optimised iris control and monitored the colour temperature of the automatic PTZ cameras to ensure that the image quality remained perfect throughout.
